Restore selected photos and videos to the system Photos library for free, without Pro. You can also open an existing AmberTime backup from Settings without the original backup task. Recognized existing items are skipped by default. When the backup contains the relevant resources and metadata, restore Live Photos, capture dates, locations, favorites and hidden status, with the option to add items to their original albums. Older backups may not restore edits or complete album information. Limited Photos access can affect existing-item detection. ▸ LOCAL-FIRST AND PRIVATE No AmberTime account, no tracking and no uploads of your files to AmberTime servers. If you choose to include iCloud-only items, originals may first be downloaded from Apple/iCloud. After restoring to Photos, Apple may sync those items according to your iCloud Photos settings. ▸ PROGRESS WHILE YOU WORK On iOS 26 and later, when the system allows background continuation, backups and restores can continue after you lock the screen, with progress on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island on supported devices. iOS controls background availability and duration; a system-paused task requires you to return and continue. ▸ START FREE.
