Barkey turns your speech into text on your device. Use its minimal keyboard to insert your words where you type. Choose an on-device speech model: Bark Pro for English or the smaller Parakeet Redux model for 25 languages. Download your selected model once, then transcribe offline. Keep your last five completed takes in Recents, insert them again, or transcribe their audio with another model. Delete saved takes whenever you choose. No account. No transcription server. Audio and text stay on your device until you insert or paste into another app. Setup requires a model download, microphone permission, and keyboard configuration. Full Access lets the keyboard communicate with the Barkey app. The containing app handles microphone capture; a cold session opens Barkey, and you return to your destination app yourself. iOS interruptions can end a recording.
