This program (app) performs security by a simple method that makes a Blu-Ray (BD-RE) disc with recorded data be recognized by the computer as a blank disc. The processed disc is recognized as a blank disc by the computer, so the contents inside cannot be seen. If a BD-RE disc is formatted in UDF format, it can be used in a way that reads and writes files like a hard disk. There is anxiety that hard disks or flash memory may stop working at any time. Blu-ray discs are slow, but once recorded, they can safely store data for a long time, and compared to other storage media they are inexpensive, so they are suitable for use as a secondary backup.
