BikeX is a private cycling computer, GPS ride tracker, and optional ride camera in one app. Record every ride for free — with or without video — and see your live route, speed, distance, elevation, gradient, and time as you ride. No bike computer or subscription required. Sign in with Apple to sync across devices. EVERY RIDE, FREE • GPS ride recording — Track data-only rides with a live route map and clear, glanceable metrics. • Video ride recording — Use the front, rear, or dual camera on supported iPhones. Video recording, live dashboards, and video export are free. UNDERSTAND YOUR PROGRESS • Goals and trends — Set weekly or monthly goals for rides, distance, time, or elevation. • Personal records — Follow eight-week trends, consistency, milestones, and your own best efforts without public leaderboards. • Familiar routes — BikeX privately recognizes routes you ride again and compares your attempts on-device. YOUR RIDE, YOUR STORY • Ride details — After saving, see your route, a ride achievement, metrics, charts, and splits in one place. • GPX export — Export valid recorded routes as standard GPX files for backup or use with other cycling tools. • Video dashboards — Manually add clean speed, distance, gradient, elevation, and route overlays to your ride videos. • Map sharing — With a usable GPS route, single-ride images and route-replay videos use real maps, with 30 m start-and-finish protection on by default. Check the preview; locations may still be inferred. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Sign in with Apple to sync ride summaries and privately saved GPX routes. Ordinary ride-summary sync excludes GPS tracks, videos, audio, weight and calorie estimates. Saved routes sync privately with coordinates; publishing requires your choice and a privacy preview. Joining a public group ride shares your name and its recorded GPS replay with other signed-in riders; password-group replay is members-only. An avatar you choose is uploaded to your profile. Feedback and replies are in Settings after sign-in; submissions send your content and necessary app/security metadata. No advertising tracking. Optional PostHog product analytics require opt-in and use a random installation identifier, not your BikeX account. When enabled, they include source IP and approximate IP location; device model, OS, screen size, Wi-Fi/cellular status and time zone; and precise first/last recorded ride GPS points, with country, region and city when available. Endpoints may reveal home or work locations. Analytics excludes the full route, health data, weight, media and session replay. Existing choices continue to apply; disable analytics anytime in Settings without losing features. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics use the same optional choice for filtered usage events, random installation/app-instance identifiers, crash stacks and app/device diagnostics. Google may infer approximate location from network requests. BikeX sends no GPS points, account details or health data to Firebase. Only crashes recorded with consent may be uploaded on a later consented launch.
