The app scans your device and recommends the model that fits it best (NPU, GPU, or CPU), so you don't have to figure that out yourself. • HYBRID — your documents are indexed and searched locally, and only the final answer is written by a cloud model. You gain quality without your files ever leaving your device. • CLOUD, WITH YOUR OWN KEY — connect the provider you already use: OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or your own server (Ollama, LM Studio). You pay your provider whatever you use, at your own rates. We never sit in the middle, and we never see your data. PRIVACY BY DESIGN In local mode, the entire process — indexing, search, and answer writing — happens on your device, and no document is ever uploaded to any server. If your policy requires it, strictly-local mode blocks any cloud provider so no one can turn it on by mistake.
