Stick a checkpoint where your habit happens: your desk, the gym, your bedside. Tap it with your iPhone when you're there. That's your check-in, and your streak grows. Add a lockout, and the apps that pull you away stay quiet until you tap in. CHECKPOINTS • A checkpoint is a small NFC tag. Tap it with your iPhone awake and unlocked, and a chkpnt banner checks you in. No need to open the app first. • Each checkpoint keeps its own streak, color and history. • Tags are signed, so a check-in only counts where the tag is. STREAKS • Check in once a day to keep a streak going. • See your streak on Home, on each checkpoint and in a Home Screen widget. LOCKOUTS • Pick the apps that pull you away, then pick the days and hours they go quiet. • Done for today (the default): one tap at a checkpoint opens your apps until the lockout's hours end. Next time they start, your apps go quiet again. • Session: a tap opens them for 15 to 90 minutes, your pick. The bar fills as it runs, then they go quiet again. • Put a lockout on one checkpoint or a few. Any checkpoint it's on will do. • Strict: a strict lockout can't be paused or changed while it's locked, and deleting it takes a day. • Emergency unlock: really need your apps? Hold for 10 seconds, then type a short sentence. Once a day, and it never touches your streak. • Creating a lockout ends with a hold to commit, so you mean it. AROUND YOUR PHONE • A streak widget for your Home Screen. • Sessions show on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island while they run. • Scan from Control Center, or ask Siri. YOUR APPS STAY PRIVATE • chkpnt never learns which apps you pick. iOS hands it a private token, and quieting apps happens on your iPhone. • Your checkpoints, check-ins and streaks sync to your account. Nothing is used for ads or tracking. • Delete your account in Settings any time. WHAT YOU NEED • A chkpnt checkpoint tag, from chkpnt.co. • An iPhone with NFC. Lockouts use Screen Time, which you allow once.
