Daytape is your private video diary. No account, no feed, no editing app. You hit record a few times during the day, and in the evening your day is waiting as a finished film. Your clips stay in your Photos. What's free stays free. HOW IT WORKS • Record: open the app, press the red button, done. A few seconds are enough. Or take a photo that holds still in your film. • Watch: the day film joins your moments automatically, in the order you recorded them. No timeline, no editing. • Collect: every day becomes a cassette in your archive, sorted by day, month and year. Search finds moments by title, place and date. PLACES AND MAP • Any clip can carry a place. If you like, Daytape adds it while you record: your own places like “Home” even offline, elsewhere the city. • The Map tab shows your recordings as pictures. A tap shows every moment at a place, and “Play” turns them into a film. RECORD LIKE A CAMCORDER • Full-screen viewfinder with date stamp, tape counter and a red REC dot. • Tap to focus, exposure, strong stabilization, grid and level. Slow motion and speed up to ×60. Start and stop with the volume buttons, too. • Portrait or landscape per day, so your film stays consistent. • Zoom from the ultra wide lens up to your iPhone's maximum. On your first day it tells you when your first day film is ready. Each kind can be turned off; everything is planned on your iPhone.
