Plan focus for your next shot. DOF Cinema calculates depth of field and hyperfocal distance for cinema camera profiles and film formats, with saved configurations for setups you want to revisit. SEE WHAT STAYS SHARP A live scene shows your settings at work. Flowers, a dog, a house and distant mountains sit at real distances, and each blurs according to your focus distance, aperture and lens. Open up the stop and watch the background melt; zoom in and the scene tightens. You can turn the scene's animation off in Settings. MADE FOR IPHONE DUO Stand it up and the results face you while the sliders lie flat under your thumbs. Open it like a book and results and controls each get their own half, clear of the fold. Close it and everything moves to the outer screen, with your controls in the side bar. Layouts move smoothly as you fold. SEE YOUR FOCUS LIMITS Adjust subject distance, aperture and focal length. Read the near and far focus limits, total depth of field, and the distance in front of and behind your subject. CHOOSE A CINEMA CAMERA PROFILE Select your camera and sensor profile from the included cinema catalog. Check the named format before calculating a shot. ADJUST FOCAL LENGTH CONTINUOUSLY Use horizontal sliders to explore settings while keeping the results in view. Cinema's focal-length control supports continuous adjustment. SAVE YOUR SETUP Save configurations and load them again when you return to a shot. Saved configurations stay on your device. METRIC OR IMPERIAL Work in metres or feet and inches. Camera profiles and the available extended calculation ranges are included in the paid app. No ads. No in-app purchases. No subscription. No sign-in required. Calculations work offline with the available camera catalog; catalog updates need an internet connection.
