Drive DTC turns a USB OBD-II adapter and your Windows PC into a clear, modern scan tool for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles (1996 and newer). See what your vehicle is telling you – without any risk of changing its settings. READ-ONLY BY DESIGN Every message to your vehicle passes a built-in safety guard that only allows read requests. Drive DTC can't program modules, change settings, unlock security or run actuator tests. The only thing it can change is clearing engine trouble codes, and you have to type CLEAR to confirm. WHAT IT DOES • One-click health checkup: trouble codes, readiness monitors, misfire counts and battery voltage in about 10 seconds, with a 0–100 health score • Trouble codes in plain English – engine, transmission, ABS and airbag – with freeze-frame data • Live gauges for 35+ values, plus Ford transmission temperature and tire pressures when your vehicle supports them • Vehicle details from your VIN, and safety recalls from NHTSA's public database • Finds your adapter automatically and can connect as soon as it's plugged in • Record drives and replay them • Dark and light themes, and a large-text garage mode PRO AND SHOP FEATURES Towing screen, custom alerts, performance timers and fuel economy, garage history with before/after compare, battery and charging test, PDF reports, cloud sync and share links. Shop adds customer details and reports branded with your shop's name.
