FET is free software for automatically scheduling timetables for schools, high-schools or universities. It uses a fast and efficient timetabling algorithm. It is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3. Usually, FET is able to solve a complicated timetable in around 5-20 minutes. For simpler timetables, it may take a shorter amount of time, under 5 minutes (in some cases, a matter of seconds). For extremely difficult timetables, it may take a longer time, a matter of hours. It has a very large and flexible palette of time and space constraints. PLEASE SUPPORT us (Liviu Lalescu and/or me (Volker Dirr) ) by donating. We have a forum for support. Developing software and running a forum is sadly not cheap. See the donation request on https://www.timetabling.de/ . Please donate with added comment "FET from Microsoft Store" so that we know that updating this store is useful. It features a flexible student structure, organized into sets: years, groups and subgroups. FET allows overlapping years and groups and non-overlapping subgroups. You can even define individual students (as separate sets). Each constraint has a weight percentage, from 0.0% to 100.0% (but some special constraints are allowed to have only 100% weight percentage).
