FitProject: Gym Workout Log

Your fitness. Your project. A free gym workout log with Smart Rotation — routines built from your training history, goals, and equipment. No subscription, no paywall, no ads. — Why this exists — I wanted to build a consistent workout routine. So I tried the apps everyone recommends. They all wanted a monthly subscription just to log sets and reps. I'm a developer. So I built my own. FitProject is what I use every day at the gym. It does the things a serious workout log should do, and skips the things that get in the way. — Smart Rotation — A rule-based engine that builds your week from: • Your equipment — every bar, plate, dumbbell, and machine you've configured • Your goal — strength, hypertrophy, or endurance • Your frequency and session length • Your real training history — muscle fatigue, weekly volume, recently used exercises Keep the same exercises each week, or let them rotate. Every target says where it comes from — heavier than last time, more reps, or eased after a plateau or a break — and updates when you add, remove, or reorder exercises. It runs on your phone. Same inputs, same workout. Not AI, not a black box. — Logging that doesn't compromise — • Working sets and warm-up sets, tracked separately • Reps in Reserve (RIR) per exercise • Rest timer with a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island (iOS 16.2+), and an alert when rest is over, even with your phone locked • Weight in kg or lb • A warning when a value looks like a typo • Per exercise, a standing note and a note for today's session • Start an empty workout and add exercises as you go • Edit the sets of a finished workout, any time • 1,319 exercises with instructions, form cues, and illustrations — Equipment that matches your gym — • Start from a preset — Full gym, Home dumbbells, or Bodyweight — then fine-tune it • Inventory your exact bars, plates with quantities, dumbbell pairs, kettlebells, machines, cables, bench, pull-up bar, custom weights included • Smart Rotation prescribes only weights you can actually load — Progress you can read — • Strength curve and muscle group balance over 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or all-time • Weekly volume, compared with last week up to the same day • Top exercises with sparkline trends • Per-exercise history with set summaries and session notes — Templates when you want them — • Build your own routines, drag-reorder, set values to "auto" or fix them • Start from 24 curated templates — Push/Pull/Legs, Upper/Lower, Full Body • Mix Smart Rotation and templates day by day — Bring your history — Import past workouts from another app's CSV export. Review the exercise matches, skip workouts you already logged, and undo the import if it isn't right. — Privacy by design — Your workouts and profile stay on your device. No account. No analytics. No ad or tracking SDKs. The only thing the app sends is an anonymous crash report when something breaks, and you can turn that off. Export a full backup whenever you want, and restore it when you set up the app on a new phone. — What it doesn't have — No social feed. No coach DMs. No premium tier. No Apple Watch, HealthKit, or cloud sync in this release. Just a tool to track the work. — Free — Every feature is included for everyone. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no upsell. — Languages: English, French. More on the way.
