Frames — Desktop Sticky Notes

Frames brings the simplicity of sticky notes to your Mac desktop. Give each idea, reminder, or snippet its own small window, and keep useful text nearby while you work. • Create separate desktop notes from File → New Frame, with Command–N, or from the Dock menu. • Write and paste rich text, use native macOS text and font tools, and paste images. • Collapse a note into a compact bar showing its first line to make room on your desktop. • Expand it again to keep editing at its previous height. • Resize each frame to suit your workspace, with support for light and dark appearance. Frames is for temporary notes. It does not save or restore your text or images. Copy anything you want to keep before closing a frame or quitting. Closing a nonempty frame asks for confirmation; quitting the app discards all frames without a confirmation. No account is required. Frames includes no ads or third-party analytics, and does not upload your content to the developer. Requires macOS 14 or later.
