Fretkit is the guitar and bass toolkit that's actually a pleasure to open. A beautiful, interactive fretboard sits at the center — explore scales and chords across standard and alternate tunings, tap notes to hear and see how they sit on the neck, and switch between guitar and bass. A fast, accurate chromatic tuner gets you in tune in a noisy room. And an animated circle of fifths turns music theory into something you actually want to play with — tap a key to see its scale light up on the fretboard and its diatonic chords fall into place. Need something to play over? The Progressions tab suggests chord progressions for the key, style and mood you pick. Play them back, tweak them part by part, and save them to come back to. No account. No sign-in. No clutter. The essentials are free.
