Janitor: Build Cache Cleaner

Janitor finds the build folders that quietly fill up a developer's Mac and clears them in a click: Rust target/ folders, Xcode DerivedData, Swift .build/, Gradle and Maven output, .NET bin/ and obj/, web framework caches, Python caches, dependency folders such as node_modules, and the caches behind Homebrew, pip, npm, Go, Gradle, Maven, CocoaPods, wasm-pack and sccache. HOW IT WORKS • Choose the folders Janitor may look at. It only sees what you approve, and it only removes build output inside them. • Scan to see every build folder with its size, file count and the date of its last build. • Clean what you pick, or select everything that hasn't been touched in a while. Move to the Trash or delete right away. • Let Janitor sweep on a schedule: every hour, day, week or month, only folders older than the age you set, with a notification when it's done. • Keep it in the menu bar with the total reclaimable space a glance away. SAFE BY DESIGN Every folder is identified by the project file beside it (a Cargo.toml next to target/, a package.json next to node_modules) and checked again right before removal. Your source files are never touched; the next build recreates what Janitor removed. BUILT WITH RUST AND WEBASSEMBLY The scanning engine is written in Rust, compiled to WebAssembly and runs inside the app in a sandbox that can only reach the folders you granted. No account, no tracking, nothing leaves your Mac. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://gomain.com/privacy/
