Stock Ticker 2026 is a floating desktop application for Windows that displays stock and market data in a window that stays on top of your other apps. It is designed for quick, at-a-glance monitoring of stock prices without leaving your current work. What it does - Live quotes — Enter a stock symbol to see the current price, change in dollars and percent, and session high/low. - After-hours — After-hours price and change are shown when available. - Charts — Interactive price charts for the selected symbol over daily, 5-day, 1-month, 3-month, 6-month, or 1-year periods. - Auto-refresh — Data can refresh automatically every 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 5 minutes, or you can turn auto-refresh off. - Floating window — The window stays on top and can be moved and resized; you can drag it anywhere on your screen. - Collapse/expand — Collapse to a compact bar showing symbol, price, and change, or expand to see the full chart and details. - Multiple windows — Open several instances from the title bar to track different symbols side by side. - Customization — Light and dark themes, customizable header and background colors, title bar content (e.g., show or hide name, symbol, price, change), and title font size. - Persistence — Window position and size are saved per instance; optional "Start on PC startup" is available in settings. No account required — You do not sign in. Data is requested from third-party market data providers (e.g., Yahoo Finance) using only the symbol you enter; see the app's privacy statement for details.
