MarkMaid Viewer is a lightweight desktop application for reading, editing and previewing Markdown documents and Mermaid diagrams. It is designed for users who work with technical documentation, architecture notes, project diagrams, process flows, specifications or Markdown-based knowledge bases. Open a .md, .markdown, .mmd or .mermaid file and get a clean local preview without sending your content to an online service. The app includes a recent files pane, an optional editor pane, a rendered preview, zoom controls for diagrams, drag and drop support, Windows file associations and export tools. Mermaid diagrams can be exported or copied as SVG or PNG. Complete Markdown documents can be exported to PDF or DOCX, with Mermaid diagrams included when present. MarkMaid Viewer works offline by design. Your documents stay on your device. The app does not require an account, does not connect to a cloud rendering service and does not collect personal data.
