meHistory is a diary that organizes itself. No ads. Reading and writing your diary are always free; AI is billed by the token. WRITE · Write or speak a line — "Beef noodles with Amy at lunch" — and it becomes a dated event with people and places. · Photos, voice memos and links between your paragraphs. Resize photos or set them side by side; a voice memo keeps the recording and its transcript. Bold, headings and lists too. · Lazy diary: one tap, and the Historian drafts the day from its photos and tidies what you wrote. Photos are read on your device; only a text description goes to the AI (thumbnails only if you turn that on). Review every change before applying it; undo anytime. · A hand-drawn cover for every day: 10 free, plus the Everyday (200 credits) and Gulu Pack (360 credits) cover packs, free for members. · Weather: writing today's entry records today's weather next to your mood. · A mood for every day — slacking off, grinding, cheerful, zen… — and the calendar shows how your month went. READ · A reading feed: today on top, then every day you wrote, with its cover, weather, mood, photos and to-dos. · Timelines: runs, weight, trips, people you met — each on its own line, so you see how it changes. Make your own: haircuts, concerts, films. · Map: the places of your year, with labels that no longer pile up. A place in the wrong spot? "Fix location" moves it for every event there. · Friends: @-mention people in events and see what you did together. · Dates: birthdays (lunar too), anniversaries, holidays. · Undated to-dos move to today until you tick them off. ASK THE HISTORIAN · "When was I last in Tokyo?" "How far did I run this year?" The Historian searches your diary to answer, and can add and edit entries and to-dos — every change waits for your review and can be undone. · You decide what it reads: calendar, contacts, photos, web search, Apple Health weight — each has a switch in Settings → Historian → The Historian can read. EVERYWHERE · Widgets: “All-in-One” (Today, Last 7 Days, Timeline; tap to flip) and “7-Day To-dos” (tick tasks off on your Home Screen). · Apple Watch: raise your wrist and speak to write today down, or ask the Historian. · "Add to Journal" in any app's share sheet saves text or a link to a day. · Import from Apple Journal, Day One, Markdown and text files (e.g. Obsidian exports) or pasted text. It only adds; nothing you wrote is changed. · Messages: send us feedback from Settings → Account; our replies arrive there. YOUR DATA IS YOURS · The diary stays on your device or in your own iCloud. Cloud AI is used only after you agree. · Hide days from the Historian, or lock them with a password (encrypted). · Cloud backup (optional): encrypted on your device before upload, so we can't read it. Back up daily if you like; restore with iCloud Keychain, your backup password or a recovery code. · Export the whole diary as a plain zip that opens on any computer; importing it merges and never overwrites. AI is billed by the token: asking the Historian (web search included), Lazy diary, sorting screenshots and cloud event extraction, usually a few credits a time; High-accuracy recognition is 1 credit a minute. 300 free credits at signup; buy packs in Settings → Account → Buy credits (30% extra on your first purchase). Credits also unlock cover packs and pay for cloud backup (50 a month; free with a balance of 2000 or more). Export and import from other apps need a membership or a balance of 5000 credits (nothing is charged); "Add to Journal" is for everyone. Or join meHistory Membership: the Historian doesn't use your credits (within fair use; beyond that, credits are charged as usual), plus 100 credits every month, free cover packs and cloud backup, and export and import. Renews monthly, quarterly or yearly until cancelled in your Apple Account's subscriptions.
