Network Radar

See what’s connected. Know when something changes. Network Radar turns your Mac into a practical network scanner and monitoring tool. Find unfamiliar devices, troubleshoot connection problems and keep a clear record of your network—at home or at work. Click Scan to get started, then explore the devices Network Radar discovers. From a quick check of your Wi-Fi network to ongoing server monitoring, the tools you need are in one place. DISCOVER YOUR DEVICES View IP, IPv6 and MAC addresses, manufacturer and model details, DNS, Bonjour (mDNS) and NetBIOS names, open ports and response times. See when a device was last detected, and use the Bonjour browser to explore advertised services. MONITOR AND RESPOND Monitor devices for changes in availability and keep a history of observations. Set up rules to show a notification, send an email or play a sound—for example, when an important server stops responding. Choose how much ping and log history to retain. KEEP YOUR NETWORK ORGANIZED Give devices meaningful names, custom icons, types, vendor names and notes. Use folders and smart folders to organize your network. The grouped All Hosts view brings together matching devices from different scans while keeping each entry’s status, settings and history separate. Missing discovery details can come from matching entries in other scans. PUT NETWORK TOOLS TO WORK Run Ping, Port Scan, Traceroute and Whois without switching apps. Wake compatible devices with Wake on LAN, or put configured Macs to sleep, restart them or shut them down. MORE WAYS TO WORK • Create scans with custom IP ranges. • Associate scans with networks and refresh or monitor multiple scans. • Open a device’s configured service by double-clicking its entry. • Build workflows with actions for the Shortcuts app. • Import CSV files to add hosts or update device details edited in a spreadsheet. • Transfer saved scans and custom icons between Macs with NETRADR exports. • Export to NETRADR, XML, CSV, TXT or PDF; import NETRADR, XML and CSV files. The information available depends on your network and the devices’ responses. Wake on LAN and remote commands require compatible devices and suitable network settings. Sleep, restart and shutdown commands for Macs require Remote Login (SSH) and configured credentials.
