NIS2 Readiness Audit

Your customers are asking about NIS2 — and you need an answer that holds up. NIS2 Readiness Audit turns Directive (EU) 2022/2555 into a structured self-check: 29 checkpoints across six topic areas, one afternoon of work, and a report you can hand over at the end. WHAT NIS2 REQUIRES The NIS2 Directive entered into force in January 2023 and is being written into national law by the member states. It covers "essential" and "important" entities in eighteen sectors — energy, transport, health, drinking water, digital infrastructure, postal services, waste, chemicals, food, manufacturing and more — and, through the supply chain duty, their suppliers as well. Three articles carry the weight: Article 20 makes the management body personally accountable and requires it to be trained, Article 21 lists the risk-management measures, Article 23 sets the reporting deadlines. WHY COMPANIES USE THIS APP • Because a customer or main contractor sends the NIS2 questionnaire, and a documented self-assessment is the answer to it • Because the management body has to know where the company stands before the supervisory authority asks — it is liable • Because an incident is the wrong moment to read the 24-hour deadline for the first time • Because consultancy is expensive and the stocktaking beforehand does not have to be THE SIX TOPIC AREAS • Governance & risk management — 5 checkpoints • Incident handling & reporting obligations — 5 • Continuity & crisis management — 4 • Supply chain & procurement — 5 • Cyber hygiene & personnel — 5 • Technical measures & access — 5 Every checkpoint cites the article, paragraph and letter of the directive. THE DEADLINES WRITTEN INTO THE LAW Seven checkpoints are explicit legal duties and are marked as such in the app: management accountability and training, registration with the competent authority, early warning within 24 hours, notification within 72 hours, final report within one month, and multi-factor authentication. FROM THE ARTICLE TO THE IMPLEMENTATION The directive says WHAT is required. The app adds the HOW: one sentence for the management body, three to five concrete steps, the mistakes that actually happen in practice, what counts as evidence in an audit, plus effort, ownership and tool suggestions — open source first. WHERE YOU STAND Ratings from 0 (not implemented) to 4 (continuously improved), maturity per topic area and overall, radar chart and gap analysis against your target value. THE REPORT A PDF with management summary, overview, every open duty in full length and detail pages. Consultancies and audit firms add their name, logo and accent colour — the report goes to the client without rework. CSV export included. SEVERAL COMPANIES, SEVERAL YEARS Each assessment carries its own company details. The comparison shows what has moved since the last round. EVERYTHING STAYS ON THE DEVICE No account, no cloud, no tracking, not a single network request. Face ID or Touch ID lock optional, backup as a portable file. FREE AND PRO One checkpoint per topic area — six of 29 — stays free forever, maturity scores and radar included. Pro opens the rest and adds the PDF report, CSV and backup export, report branding and unlimited assessments — as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time purchase that never renews. LANGUAGES English, German, French, Italian and Romansh (unofficial AI translation, clearly marked). NOT PROOF OF COMPLIANCE An independent self-assessment tool — neither proof of compliance nor legal advice. The obligations are paraphrased; the directive and the national implementing law prevail. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in the App Store settings. Terms of Use: https://treeinspired.com/terms.html Privacy Policy: https://treeinspired.com/privacy.html
