A little machine. A page of your own. Platen brings the feeling of a typewriter to your iPhone: textured paper, imperfect ink, mechanical sounds and a capsule that follows your words. Write letters, capture thoughts and enjoy a quieter place to write. Choose flat or curved paper, your type size and margins, adjust ink darkness and keep corrections as crossed-out letters or erase them cleanly. Long-press the capsule for night writing, then adjust the lamp’s warmth, intensity and beam. Find notes with search and monthly groups. Recover them from Recently Deleted, export a backup or enable optional iCloud synchronization with the same Apple Account. Organise your Box with named dividers and flower tabs, file a letter while you write, and reach paper, ribbon, lamp and sound from a glass quick bar. Choose Fresh, Seasoned, Worn or Clean ink, press an embossed paper mark into every letter, write by lamplight on every screen, and find any setting with search. Hang little charms from your rail. Start free with three active notes, the original writing setup and two charms. You can try every capsule and charm before you buy. Platen Studio is an optional one-time purchase for more notes, paper and ribbon choices, capsule styles, rail finishes, gardens, photo stamps, additional sounds and print-ready A4, US Letter and A5 sheets, and it includes every pack. Packs can also be bought on their own, each as a one-time purchase: Charms & Pegboard (the full charm library, pegboard, chains and cords), Crafts of the World (country capsules, rail ends and painted margins), Halloween and Día de Muertos. Optional tips support the maker and unlock nothing. No subscription. All future Studio features included. Each note supports up to 3,000 characters, including spaces and line breaks, in both the free edition and Platen Studio. Made by Rafikki Studio.
