Pocket 429 turns a 32-bit ARINC 429 word into something you can read, and back again. Type or paste a word and see the label in octal, SDI, SSM with the right meaning for the encoding, an odd-parity check, and the data field decoded as BNR, BCD or discretes. Tap any bit to flip it and watch the decode update. A label database fills in type, range, significant bits and units for over a hundred general assignments, and every parameter stays editable so you can match your ICD. Save your own defaults per label. Text words are covered too: Airbus CFDS maintenance traffic on labels 354 and 356 is rebuilt into readable part numbers and fault messages. Batch mode takes a whole capture pasted straight from your analyzer, log columns and all. Every word gets label, SDI, SSM, parity and value; text streams are reassembled; a CSV is one tap away. Scan reads words from a photo of an analyzer screen or a printout, on the device. Each word is checked against parity and the label table, repaired characters are flagged, and you can correct anything in place. The builder goes the other way: label, SDI, SSM and an engineering value in, a word with parity set out. Works offline. No account, no tracking, nothing leaves the device. Pocket 429 is a bench, simulator and training reference for avionics technicians, simulator engineers, test and integration engineers, and students. It is not approved maintenance data. Confirm anything you act on against the source LRU's ICD and your approved manuals.
