Quartile is a film rating system that tells you why a movie is good, not just that it is. Find something to watch by what it does well. Browse Top Cinematography, Top Novelty or Top Ending, stack them with a genre, and see the films that are great at that one thing. Not sure? Hit the dice for a random pick. See where to watch. Every film and TV show page shows where it's streaming, or where to rent or buy it, and the Save button adds it to your Watchlist in one tap. Build playlists and share them. Make one for a friend. Save the ones people make for you. Follow friends with good taste and see what they rate. A better way to browse cinema. Enjoy exploring. HOW THE RATING SYSTEM WORKS Every film and TV season is rated in five categories: Plot, Acting, Cinematography, Novelty and Ending. Each one is scored 1 to 4, with no neutral middle, so every rating takes a position. The five scores are added together and halved to make the Q, a single score out of 10 that runs from 2.5 to 10. You can always see what each category scored underneath it, so a Q never hides its reasons.
