ROX is a personal local AI assistant for Windows that runs directly on your computer. You can use it for everyday tasks such as chatting, writing and editing text, learning, programming, planning, brainstorming, and explaining complex topics. ROX runs local AI models on your device, so your conversations are processed locally. After downloading a model, generating responses does not require a constant connection to an external AI service. The built-in Model Manager lets you download, switch between, and manage local models without manually working with model files or complicated setup. If your computer has a compatible NVIDIA graphics card, ROX can use CUDA acceleration for faster generation. CPU mode is also supported. ROX also includes a local memory system that can keep useful context and gradually adapt better to your conversations and projects.
