SCS - Calcul de Débit is a desktop hydrological tool based on the Soil Conservation Service (SCS) method. It helps engineers, students, and water-resource professionals quickly compute the peak runoff discharge of a catchment area. The application is the desktop (PyQt5) version of an original mobile application. It offers a clean, simple interface with five input fields and instant results. Method used: The SCS Curve Number (CN) method estimates the direct runoff from rainfall and computes the peak discharge of a watershed. Features: * Inputs: rainfall P (mm), Curve Number CN, area A (km²), time of concentration Tc (h), storm duration D (h). * Outputs: S (maximum retention), R (direct runoff), Tp (time to peak), and Qp (peak discharge in m³/s). * Runs fully offline.
