Your sky. Across time. Explore the sky above your city, discover another vantage point, or travel thousands of years into the past. Skyfold Astra brings the Sun, Moon, planets, stars and constellations into an interactive sky explorer. DISCOVER CELESTIAL EVENTS Open the telescope to browse Highlights, Daily sky, Eclipses, Meteor showers and Planet parades for your selected place and time. Select an event and keep exploring through pan, zoom and Time Travel. Recenter its framing or return to the event time from its card. Eclipse previews offer actual angular sizes; meteor showers show annual peak estimates and local radiant viewing windows within the supported modern catalog range. TRAVEL THROUGH TIME Move from minutes to centuries with Time Travel, or jump directly to a date from 10,000 BCE through 2099 CE. Event searches have their own coverage and are not available across the full Time Travel range. CHANGE YOUR VANTAGE POINT Search for cities, addresses, landmarks or exact coordinates in one place. Preview a location, adjust its point on the map, then save and use it. Compare one moment from different places, or explore the historical sky above an archaeological site. KEEP A MOMENT. SHARE ITS SKY. Name and save an exact instant, then return to it with a tap. Share a sky sigil and a link to the moment. Review a received link in Astra, then open its sky at the shared place, time and direction. FIND AND FOLLOW Search the sky or select an object directly. Read information about stars, constellations, the Sun, Moon and planets, and lock a star or world in view while time moves. EXPLORE THE HORIZON Read cardinal directions and bearings, and add modern terrain around your chosen location. Terrain shows today's landscape while the sky travels through time. Initial terrain preparation needs a connection; cached terrain reopens offline. Manage stored terrain from Settings. UNFOLD ON IPHONE DUO Explore a continuous sky in Book, keep the sky above your controls in Tabletop, or open the Tent sky clock from Settings. Astra adapts to the outer and inner displays on supported iPhone Duo devices. TAKE A LITTLE SKY BREAK Your first 15 minutes of active sky exploration are on us, with one extra 7-minute break if you need it. Only time exploring the sky counts. Get unlimited sky time with Full Sky Unlock, a one-time, restorable in-app purchase. No subscription or automatic charge. If you bought an earlier paid version of Astra, your unlimited sky access continues. Made by nitpick labs.
