Choose a photo, pick an effect, and Surprise Photos saves a Live Photo to your library. Press and hold it in Photos and the effect plays: the picture pixelates into place, shatters and snaps back together, or your friend's jaw starts flapping like a ventriloquist's dummy. Over 30 effects. Classic effects operate on the whole photo with pixels, noise, glitches, a vortex or comic book dots. Face effects find everyone in the photo and give each person googly eyes, heart eyes, a red clown nose, Deal With It sunglasses or a bobblehead, and group effects swap their faces around. Moves adds jazz hands. For Halloween there are ghosts floating around your photo, glowing eyes, pumpkin heads, vampire fangs and even a jump scare.
