"tfs" is a pixel art editor built specifically for 256-color (8-bit indexed) graphics. Work with Bitmap, magnified Edit, and Animation windows side by side in a single MDI workspace, complete with layers, 256-color palette editing, and a full set of drawing tools. Export to transparent PNG/BMP (opacity composite) or animated GIF — ideal for retro-game graphics, icons, sprites, and pixel art. The palette supports automatic gradient generation and mask colors, while layers let you work precisely using opacity, per-layer transparent index, and onion-skin reference. Everything runs locally on your PC; the app collects and transmits no personal information whatsoever. The user interface is available in both English and Japanese.
