The WoS teaches ten-finger typing. The hour begins on the home row. Each key belongs to one finger, and the hands stay quiet. The window shows the keyboard of the chosen language, as a Windows keyboard or as a Mac keyboard. The course moves through twelve stages, from the home row through words and sentences to a full text. Learn mode waits for the correct key. In dictation, the same line runs as a ticker, and the speed follows the correct keystrokes. In an exam, the wrong character is written too. Keystrokes per minute, accuracy, and evenness stay on the glass. The mark of 180 correct keystrokes per minute is shown. It does not unlock a stage, and it does not lock one. 72 languages are in the list, each with its own name, flags, and home row. The surface, the guidance, and the names of the sounds follow the chosen language. Spoken guidance reads the hour in four beats. Sounds and confirmation tones switch separately. Progress stays on this computer. There is no account. When spoken guidance is on, the sentences go to Microsoft's speech service so a neural voice can read them. Otherwise nothing leaves the computer. The 72 languages carry these national flags: Democratic Republic of the Congo 馃嚚馃嚞 Republic of the Congo 馃嚥馃嚞 Madagascar 馃嚥馃嚘 Morocco 馃嚙馃嚝 Burkina Faso
