Token Dog

A desktop DJ corgi that reacts to your LLM token usage without reading your work. Token Dog watches local token-count fields from Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini CLI, then turns your activity into a 12-step tension level. A Welsh Corgi lives on your desktop and in the menu bar: quiet when your session is calm, DJ mode when tokens are moving fast. • Desktop DJ corgi and animated menu-bar dog • Local Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini CLI token-rate tracking • Claude Code subscription limits via an optional local status line connection • Codex account limits displayed automatically, with weekly usage by default • Low-load 30-second default polling with recently changed log scanning • Statistics tab with 24-hour default range, source filters, and device-aware iCloud aggregation • Choose from 11 dog breeds, including Corgi, Shiba Inu, Jindo, Poodle, and more • Sensitivity slider, manual level pinning, always-on-top toggle, and remembered desktop position Token Dog reads token-count and rate-limit fields only. It does not read, store, or transmit your source code, prompts, or chat content. Optional iCloud sync stores minute-level usage samples only. No app account. No ads. No tracking. No in-app purchase. Requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. Apple Silicon recommended.
