Waypost Words is a crossword word game with a road to walk. Letters sit on a wheel. Trace them to spell a word and it drops into the crossword above. Fill every answer and you move on to the next stop. SEVEN SKILLS, FOUR ON THE BOARD You start with Reveal a letter. Six more open as you gain experience, you carry four at a time, and each use costs coins you earn as you play. • Reveal a letter: one letter from an answer you haven't found. • Reveal a square: the letter in the square you pick. • Meaning: what an answer means, without giving away a letter. • Solve an answer: one whole answer, filled in. • First letters: the first letter of every answer still missing. • Keystone: the square two answers share, and one more in each. • Cloudburst: a few squares opened across several answers. Go a few tries in a row without filling anything and the game offers a hand. THREE ROADS, THREE TRAVELLERS Halden, a knight, walks back to the village he ran from twenty years ago. Nell Harrow follows an old survey line to win back the names of its places. Ada Pellow runs her boat route one final time. Each road is twenty places of twenty-five stops, 1,500 stops across all three, and every place gives up one piece of the traveller's past with a line about it. Finish a road and the next one opens. WEATHER THAT MOVES ON ITS OWN Rain, sleet and snow. Fog along the ground. Wind that carries leaves, and lightning when a storm builds. The sky shifts while you play, and it is a different sky each time you open the game. WORDS THE CROSSWORD DIDN'T ASK FOR Spell a real word that isn't an answer and it drops into the bonus jar.
