Webshots is the wallpaper and background app for Windows that automatically rotates your desktop from a curated library of 5,000+ HD and 4K photos. A real upgrade from Windows Slideshow and Windows Spotlight. WHY WEBSHOTS? Most people change their desktop wallpaper twice — once when they get a new computer, and never again. Windows Slideshow can rotate folders you already own, but it won't bring in new photography. Windows Spotlight gives you one Microsoft-chosen image per day with no control. Webshots fills the gap: a real photo library, real schedule control, and a screensaver to match. WHAT YOU GET • 5,000+ curated HD and 4K wallpapers — nature, travel, animals, cityscapes, landmarks • 2 fresh photos added every day • Schedule rotation hourly, daily, at startup, or randomly • Built-in full-screen screensaver driven by the same library • Custom playlists — build collections on webshots.com and rotate them on your desktop • Calendar overlay so your wallpaper doubles as a calendar • Use your own photos alongside the curated library, with fit modes (Adapt, Letterbox, Crop) • Lives in the Windows system tray — quiet, low-resource, out of the way PRICING Free trial includes 50+ starter wallpapers and the full screensaver. Premium ($3.99/month or $39.99/year) unlocks the full 5,000+ photo library, smart rotation, advanced screensavers, and priority support. Cancel anytime. WORKS WITH Windows 10, Windows 11, and macOS (Apple Silicon). WHO IT'S FOR Anyone who wants their desktop to feel less static — designers, photographers, remote workers, travel lovers, or anyone tired of the same Windows Spotlight image every day. A wallpaper changer, a screensaver, and a curated photo library — in one app.
