Fall asleep, focus or calm your baby with steady, soothing sound: white, pink and brown noise, rain, ocean, fan or heartbeat – mixed the way you like, on iPhone, iPad and right on your Apple Watch. On the App Store since 2010, rebuilt from the ground up for iOS 27 and watchOS 27. SOUNDS • Five noise colors, free: white, pink, brown (formerly red), blue and violet • Seven nature sounds: rain, thunderstorm, river, waterfall, forest, ocean and wind • Heartbeat for babies: a calm beat around 60 bpm, its tempo varying slightly like a real heart • Fan and airplane: the fan starts with its switch-on click and spin-up, the airplane with a single cabin chime – then both play steadily • Seamless loops from the original recordings, all equally loud – no gaps, no jumps MIX AND RELAX • Play several sounds at once and set each one's volume • Oscillation: every sound swells and fades gently like waves, each at its own pace • Sleep timer that fades the sound out softly instead of cutting it off APPLE WATCH • A standalone Apple Watch app with the same sounds, mixing and sleep timer – your sounds stay with you, even without your iPhone ALWAYS AT HAND • Works offline, also in airplane mode • Keeps playing in the background, control it from the Lock Screen • Simple and focused: open, tap, sleep FREE OR ONE-TIME PURCHASE White Noise Box is free with ads, the five noise colors and rain included. A one-time purchase unlocks the other nine sounds and removes the ads. FROM APP STORE REVIEWS “I travel for 4 to 6 months a year and use this app to provide ambient noise to help get to sleep and stay asleep.” “I sleep with white noise on earbuds every night to drown out spouse’s snoring.” “I've favored this app for several generations with some gaps in between; every time I set up a new device I check out what new white noise apps are available, and always end up going with this one.” Tip: headphones or a speaker bring out the depth of the sounds.
